The Madness Of Juilliard

Oh fill me with your ballerina eyes

The magic of the chandelier resides

You are the Mona Lisa to my smile

For these ballerina shoes are killing me

And all of the time, I think about the ceiling

How dormant it is for many;

How many names does it carry

In a civilized world?

Oh Cupid, help me leap upon

The many loves I\'ve ever sworn

For the art of Juilliard brings the character

out of me

I am a rose, not a tulip;

Alas, alas the music starts

Oh what a destined rose to pair

With such a dancer such as this

I dance like my life is madly fumed

A legless butterfly resorts,

And all the world sees that I\'m alive

For I am not a mannequin...I am a human

being

Do you see my limberness

Fall from the seams?

Do you see my age starting to glow?

Well in a room full of judges, I prey

Upon the heightness of my resilience

And they are so impressed with me

My tears fall upon the stage;

Do you know what it\'s like to dream

When you don\'t have a dream at all?

Do you know what it\'s like to see the

Mona Lisa

In its prime?

Well loneliness is not a crime

The poison is relentless...

Well color me with rouge that is presenting--

The madness of Juilliard resigns.
