Pupils enlarge
Neural synapses open
Air slips in my veins
Blood stream widens
Each cell breathes new energy
My heart beats faster
More expansive
Yet focused on what matters
Well-developed thoughts
Faster in time
Contemplative in nature
Well-being laced
I’m euphoric
With eternal unrest eased
Here, the time flows less agonizingly
With my increased engagement across life
And feelings of invincibility
I even feel an urge for connection…
Feel excitement for the mystery…
Excitement for the opportunities…
I’m excited again
