Hugh

Drowning Girl

She drowns
In a sea of black and grey
Ben-Day dots
A tempest of circles
As she treads water
Waiting
An eternity of waiting
Hanging on a cold impersonal wall

Her Lack of care
Hangs for all to sea
Though it doesn\'t ring true
An outstretched hand
A sign, a signal
Her tears the colour of the sea
As the waves crash down around her
As we watch on, helpless and intrigued

Does Brad watch on?
Broken and aged
For his lost love
Catching each dot as the last
And still she hangs there
Oh how mistakes are evident
For our amusement
As the sea takes her
