A little lively, a bit talkative and careless,
I used to be, she rasped.
“Why so silent now?”
The silence replied, words dismissed.
“Weren’t you always like this?” a voiced hissed,
For others maybe, she answered.
“Am I so silent? Is it irritating?” I hesitated.
A smile graced the 8-year-old\'s lips, pure and secure.
\"No,\" she whispered, a beacon of innocence and grace,
“Silent or talkative, be yourself and live it”
She vanished, a fleeting wisp in time\'s storm.
