even after everything the world has thrown at me.
and the only prayers that i’ve spoken
are those asking for my heart to continue to be through the storms
and through pain and through heartbreak.

let it be tender enough to never bruise whenever it touches something or someone.
the God above, may he keep it
safe from bitterness, from the desire to hurt others.
