I greet my demons
I know them by name
You called me darkness
So darkness i became
you spoke of my death
while you extinguished my flame
your words were addictive as meth
you proclaimed me a liar
While you owned silvery tongue
you called me a fire
But not a flame to nestle among
You call me fire
For the destruction i have wrought
I live with monsters
Yet I fear not
You call me fear
For where i have lain
You believe me strange
For having dragons I have not yet slain
You call me a rose bud
For it’s thorns of pain
And it’s petals the color of blood
Which courses through my veins
As it drips in the mud
You call me a star
For like a star I burn
Dangerous and bright
As the world will turn
I am seen at night
You call me a flower
For my tongue is like nightshade
with poisonous power
You call me a snake
Though I bear no fang
A vanpire with a deadly kiss
I must be killed with a steak
It seems this night must end with a bang
So make sure you don’t miss
I am a nightmare
From which you will never wake
You must beware
simply for your own sake
For I am the villain in which your stories are based
I am the giant
Who grinds your bones to paste
I am the boot and you the ant
I am no angel
And i am no friend
I bear no soul
I am the devil
For this is my roll
I am death
Sudden and sweet
I am the night
ridden in decete
You named me lies
For the smile
That has become my disguise
You named me fear
For that it what lies
Inside of my lear
You call me insane
And you call me cruel
The things I do are inhumane
But i am simply a tool
I am ice
Cold and brittle
I am the knife
used to whittle
I am a demon
With long horns
I am a rose
With poisoned thorns
i am a villain
by all definition
the
You call it chilling
what to meet my ends
it is that I am willing
