James 4 v.1-4
*********
From whence come conflicts, fightings?
Among humans, different things?
Do they not come from desires
For pleasure, stirred in you fires?
You desire, lust, yet have not
Things you want, for greed your lot
You have not, for you not ask
Rightly, but spend on wrong task
So you receive not, for you
Ask that you may selfish do
What you please and be consumed
With what you want, you presumed
It is like adultery
When you thus so worldly be
Friendship with the world is sure
Enmity with God, impure
Whosoever will be friend
Of the world, on it depend
They do make self enemy
Of God, this their state truly
