One man laughs
While another cries
Then they may trade places
Everyman has lows and highs
The secret to life is
There’s no secret at all
Just play the game
And share the ball
If we see through each other’s eyes
We see different points of view
And maybe then the newspapers
Will print more pleasing news
Had we all a common foe
Then we might all band together
But why do we need a foe
Can’t we just trust each other
Man’s footprints on the Moon
Robots exploring Mars
Yet we can’t seem to co-exist
Instead, we inflict each other’s scars
We’re not here on Earth
To fight and quarrel
But to see peace in our future
And global compassion morals
I might lose myself
In tranquil thoughts of tomorrow
With hopes that we all can come to terms
And lessen each other’s sorrow
So, I’ll give my all
To a new found faith
That somehow, we’ll all learn
Not to follow an evil wraith
