Ode to Earth

I am bound to you in this life, as seed to soil. With my growth only belonging to you. The spectrum of my earthly beginning and end is carried in your hands. With the water you hold in your cracks and hollows, I am reminded of the beauty of imperfection. The presence in your surface, as some days I must escape evil eyes in caverns without light. Other days more brazen I seek the highest peaks to feel the excitement of all of your elements. You too must seek refuge from the sun, with disconnection bringing about reconnection and times of peace and solitude.

I am in awe of the space you hold. The trust the tree has in your stability, as its roots are planted solid and firm. This connection all but encapsulated in the powerful resonance of birds humming treetop. Our consciousness, not of this world of shape and structure, can find the words to echo earthly feelings and emotions through frequency alone.

My blood runs with the waters you have held and my body comprises of the food grown in your care. I will leave this all with you when my ship is to depart. The empty vessel of my home returns to you, sinking to the bottom of an ocean of your making. This space was not mine to keep but a brief crack to explore.
