Closing a book

I\'m turning a leaf and closing the book,

I\'ve nothing achieved,

I\'ve only got hooked

On my own lie, on far- fetched naive dream,

In my mind\'s eye this sense was supreme.

I never succumbed to your gentle charms

To admit am I doomed

There just weren\' t ones...

Charisma, oh yes, and fierce power of a man,

Yet not interest in a funny duft girl.

I\'m one of the dozens, who\'s caught up by your smile,

My heart shall be frozen, not wanting to die.

My soul should have felt, you are out of my depth,

I\'m walking away, avoiding death threats.
