I am black, and I have a soul;
For the blackness of my purpose is rare
And I walk down subsident halls to prove my worth
Irrelevant are the stones that fill the earth
I walk afar all alone
And there she is, the peace that films me
Behold the soul of a lover\'s dream
Do you see the flowers that grow unpouringly?
For in the midst of all this, I am flattered
Too much has gone by
In these cedared hallways
And too much is misconstrued
Upon one\'s timely death,
I lure but I never enter the building
I scrumble but I never defeat
Too much has loved and has lost
The failure of wisdom is adjust--
By many realms have I adjusted my faith
The magic trembles
And I have escaped...
For the soul of an angel\'s foot
Has captured many halls
And the light of a lightbulb shatters
And all is gone
And all is lost,
Magnetic individuals are worth;
What does it mean to be a light in a dark place?
Does it mean I have to corrupt myself?
For Jesus is a shadow that captures all
His forbidden war turns to revenance...
Behold all the children of peace
Abound is the savior,
For fear is just an illusion that falls
Be careful how you handle it, or you will die;
What people are people of innocence?
Do they walk down halls of despair,
Or do they pick up flowers and revive them?
Till death do us diligence, the diligent clam resides
No one resides under the roof of confusion
Unless it is silenced in fear,
True trauma speaks of roads unbound
And heavenly stripes pierce the soul
And heartless gain retrieves no one
The battlefield is lost,
And geniuses loathe in heavenly flavor
The rice, the beans, the shame;
Magnificence flourishes upon the ice cream
That melts upon pointless politics
And forbidden gold...
And it is true what people say in silence
For silence is not fear
When you stand alone.
