A Wild Thing

I just want to go where the wild things are, where the wolves howl to the moon, where light greets darkness, defining each heart into bright love, enlightening beats becoming more of one, where vulnerability trots its hooves into the soils land, Gaia’s trail I’ve come to understand

where monsters greet me, reminiscing about that one time they wanted to eat me but I’ve eloped with the trees and the rest of Mother Earth’s things so I am one of them as they are one with me, I continue to run freely, for my soul illuminates viciously in God’s sight because he has found me, his glory has caused my feet to run and jump and dance around the fire causing the souls of my Ancestors to sing along to my enchantment

as I scream freedom and salvation for I feel my liberation, the Wind Spirit blows her storm and the fairies start to sing and the foxes and possums, rabbits, and raccoons start to breath more easily, for they have come to understand me

under the new moon I sleep, to wake up the next morning and I continue to run further into the forest with my wild friends, finding new love over again because of the birds losing sensitivity to draw closer to me
to then again, to being back sensitive - but together along with me, forever and ever

yes, I choose to go where the wild things are because there the love is bright and as tight as my Angels hugs and the crows plead they never want me to leave and well … the feelings are mutual, so therefore, I am a wild thing a free being
