Yet Another Fine Day.

I awoke in the early morn,

The light through the window

Showing it was after dawn

On this summer’s day.

Down the stairs I went,

Through to the conservatory

And out to the garden.

My friends were there

Awaiting for their food,

They sang to me in harmony,

The harmony of Nature’s tunes.

I walked round looking,

Looking at new growth

That was getting stronger,

Stronger and more resilient.

This was going to be a good day

And I had awoken into it,

Another fine day to be had,

To be had in my long life,

My wonderful long life.
