Passing by the Shrine of King Gongmin

“Where could I find the shrine

Of King Gongmin?”, asked at pavements

Next to the ruins of Gwangheungchang,

Under the shadow of apartments.

At Gwangheung Hall, the old pagoda tree

Gazes downward, didn\'t carp.

While atop the high tree, a small bird,

Like listen to the sound of harp.

Though there\'re victories in northern expeditions,

To the land where he succeded the accomplishments,

But failure in internal renovations,

Which left the country the impediments.

By apartments, the hill where he once painted

Is now surrounded deeply,

And the world\'s changed, but the river flows,

And still portraits recite, quietly
