The Last Iceberg.

All the news reports appeared around  the world at the same time.
Three Icebergs were sighted.
One in Sydney Harbour next to the Opera House.
The second one floated in the Port of San Francisco,
Finally the third iceberg was seen in the Port of Tokyo Japan.
People came from miles to see the sight.
Icebergs never come to these places so the Military sent
Helicopters to the Artic and the Antartic to see what was going on.
Scientists studying the phenomenon just kept saying
“We told you so. We told you so.”
The Sydney Iceberg began to melt and local estimates were
between 10 to 12 days it would disappear.
Japanese people came down to the harbour and
Monks began to Pray and threw flowers into the Ocean .
In San Francisco people sailed out to the Iceberg,
And took “selfies” believing it wouldn’t happen ever again.
Reports came back from the Military that there ice caps had melted.
They confirmed that there was no sighting of glacier at the
North or South Poles.
On the Sydney Iceberg there was a lone Polar Bear.
The Zoo staff took him to safety and called him “Hope”.
Old men at bars spoke of Floods and Droughts and Earthquakes
But they all agreed this was the saddest event of them all.
It was strange to see people weep for the last Iceberg.
