the candle burns
yellow and white
in the waning
hours of night
much akin to
a man\'s plight
over the time
in his short life
the flickering flame
decends in height
burning thru years
remaining bright
but all too soon the wax
melts to it\'s end
and all too soon man\'s life
comes to it\'s end
