Oh yes, it\'s time to get it off my chest
it’s time to get it out
i\'ve been feeling tremendously poorly
i\'ve been feeling rather fraught
see i\'ve had these shingles for fourteen months, I count
first came the burn and stabbing pain
and then came my ugly frown
spots look like
the pox of chickens
I was bewildered, that’s for sure
every day I woke up
there were more, more, more
then my arm stopped working
as my elbow just gave up
I can honestly tell you
by this time
i\'d really had enough
now they surface daily
they come to say hello
now, I\'m just so nervous
I tell them where to go?
I feel like a little old lady
aches and pains all around
I was even put on an MRI machine
but I ran off, please Sir
my feet must stay on solid ground
I can\'t believe I did this
I can\'t believe I ran?
even my next door neighbor had one
and she is someone’s gran
now I await the next time
the phone I leave on off
the MRI has freaked me out
