A few days ago Easton received a call from Elmira. Seems like she has a house that needs to be brought back to life; he said he would help her. He will be meeting her today sometime this afternoon. He’ll check it all out and see what he could do. He’s been busy working on another home for an elderly couple near by. Easton has longed for more in his life but just doesn’t know why. Ever since Dad died all he does is work and come home. He’s dated now and then but he craves something more than just one night stands that only end up making him feel alone. His father once told him to think rationally about who he chooses for his wife. “In the end son”; he said. “It’s all hard work and sacrifice.” “Treat her like a lady.”protect her and provide.” “With help from the good Lord above, you’ll have a partner for life.” Easton let go of his belief in God when he called dad home. Easton was tight with his dad; to him he was close. But he keeps busy not saying much these days. Can Elmira open his heart again? Come see in a few days.
