Give us help from trouble, Lord, for vain
Is the help of man, there no gain

I will trust in your tabernacle
For ever, and will to you call
I will trust in cover of your wings
Safe thee, my soul to you it sings

The Lord alone my salvation be
And my rock firm, steadfast is He
My defence, I shall not be greatly
Moved, for He comes to help me, see

Trust in Him at all times. you people
Pour out your heart before Him all
For He a refuge for us still is
We confident and sure in this

O God, you are my God, I will seek
You early, you to humble, meek
Will show yourself, my soul thirsts for you
Come to me, refresh me anew

And dry I be, as if in parched land
Provide me water by your hand
I long your power, glory to see
As I have seen in sanctuary

Because you, Lord, here my help have been
I have your graces, mercies seen
