With an understanding so deep for others
Yet, she can\'t decipher what she feels within
Ever heard of an empath with an inability to understand
Understand the feelings that arise and perish
Staying hidden in the back of the mind
Swelling up inside her chest ready to explode
Have you ever heard of an empath with feelings with no place to go?
Have you ever been an empath lost and losing sight of hope?
My poems understand the stories told by the world
While I remain incapable to write a poem that tells my story
A story that comes from within
What is an empath that can only decipher the feelings of others?
From human to beast
But does not know her own
An empath with feelings no place to go
And call home
