The scary part of trusting God in a waiting season is when your soul dies for what you are entrusting him with.
Those who seek the kingdom and ask, all things they desire shall follow.
But He knows when you desire a worldly relationship more than being his bride.
He knows when you want that promotion at work more than the security he provides.
He knows when you seek material riches over wisdom being your guide,
And the longer you focus on what he can do over who he is, the relationship will divide,
And he will make sure in your worldly pursuit, those things do not survive,
Because he is not a genie lamp that grants wishes 3 times.
The end result of the waiting season is not about what you receive,
It is about getting to understand and know God and be part of His testimony.
Life itself is the tribulation, to overcome and test your faith,
To remind you that you are dependent on His generosity and grace.
He is who He is and what he shall be,
And has a better vision for you and me.
So stop chasing after things that he can deliver you from,
For the way you act in the weight of the wait shows your faith is genuine.
Do not be infatuated with what God can do,
So much that you become void of his presence entirely,
Jesus says don\'t make me king because I multiply bread for you,
Make me king because I am the bread, so desire me.
