DEATH, A THIEF OF DESTINY

A virtues woman,
So pretty in and out,
Who fears God,
And seeks peace with all people.

After many years of waiting,
God came through for her,
She waited patiently in prayers,
He blessed her with a Baby-Girl.

The second came,
Nine months of heavy laden,
She posted on the blue app,
Singing songs of praise.

At labour room,
The delivery was successful,
With some complications,
It was a boy, though lifeless,
But she never lived to see him.

Death, a thief of destiny,
Came for her,
And made her husband a widower,
And her only daughter motherless.

St. Mary Cathedral is pained,
Many skirts and trousers
In tears and sorrows,
Do we question God?

Rest on Mrs. Nkechi Stella Mbanu,
Until we meet at resurrection morning,
Our prayers will comfort Mr. Okechukwu Mbanu,
This, a road for all mortals.
