In case you didn’t notice, you are getting distracted again,
By these people who keep letting you down when you thought they were your friends.
But it doesn’t matter about how you are feeling or what you are going through,
Because you have to dig deep down and do what you know you need to do.
I know it felt real, and it did feel good for a while,
Because it felt like there was light coming through and you felt like you found your smile.

able to find.
You don’t have the best luck when it comes to finding people who stay,
And all it comes down to is making it through another day.
But I guess it doesn’t matter, because you know you don’t need the love from another,
Because you have a heart that is built like no other.
You have the heart that keeps going when things get hard,
And the heart that stays strong, even when you know you could pull every card.
From every tough thing that you have been through in your life,
And hugging onto those who were the ones who were holding the knife.
And it hurts now, but you know you have the strength to make it through,
Because at the end of the day, the only person that you could ever rely on was you.

that you didn’t know.
Regain your focus, start again, and don’t allow anything to become a distraction,
And remember that no matter what you are going through, the only way you are going to get where you want to be, is by taking action.
