How much better it is to wisdom get
Than gold! Its value does exceed it yet
And to get understanding, rather choose
it than silver! You shall not fail, not lose
The highway of the upright it sure be
To depart from evil, \'tis wise to see
They that keep their way, they preserve their soul
Growing in wisdom, progress to be whole
Pride goes before destruction, and haughty
Spirit goes before a fall, so it be
Better to be of a spirit humble
With the lowly, and so you shall not fall
They that do handle a matter wisely
Shall find good, and shall know prosperity
And whoso trusts in the Lord, happy they
Be, and they have His presence night and day
