A feeling so dull,
A weight on my shoulders, a void in my skull.
The world outside is alive and bright,
But I am trapped inside, without a fight.
My mind wanders aimlessly, lost in thought,
As the minutes tick by, never brought.
I search for distraction, but find none at all,
And the emptiness grows, like a wall.
The clock ticks on, its hands moving slow,
As I sit here, stuck in this woe.
I long for adventure, for something new,
To break this monotony, to make me anew.
But until then, I\'m trapped in this rut,
With nothing to do, but sit and mutter.
So I\'ll just sit here, and dream of the day,
When boredom will fade, and life will sway.
