Sleeping Beauty

It\'s so weird...how are you able to sleep upside down

In a five-dimensional world?

Hot tramp! what do you know about that, huh?

A soft silky cloud won\'t do you justice

I can only go as far as to say

You were devalued as a child;

So many mistakes were given unto you

The world is a fickle place

But your gifts are as solid as a Tuesday afternoon

I wonder if you were beguiled from bewilderment

It is so easy to fall into a predicament

Of any kind, I suppose

For the rabbit hole is from ear to ear

And the easy apple turns blue

Oh what is the riddle of you?

Behold such wicked words so true

My female instincts have run a-rush

And I have gone into anything such as;

Oh what a lovely alien, she is so neat

The flaming hostile of it all!

Trembling in the ages of time

Poetically speaking under false pretenses,

Oh this aging girl has run amok

And all that she carries is gold

Like Alice in Wonderland amidst the leaves

A sleeping beauty has emerged...

No one sees this coming from a mile

The trespassing of one\'s heart,

Let us linger on to better paradises

I am intrigued by the leaves of despair...

Come one, come all

To the final oasis

Let us treasure each other in a box

Do not fret this silly pet...life is effervescent!

After all, what do we have to lose?

I treasure this moment with my sleeping beauty

Hung up in a trance that is new

Such prevalent gifts astonish the world

She lifts from a tree a pretty secret...

And no one knows the vanity of despair

How lucrative the wall can be

Such childhood trauma raises affection

What do you need from the golden one?

And alas, the past carries weight

I can only wonder how sleeping beauty

Is able to rest--

And love and happiness, does it come from a doll?

The nation is far and few, and in between;

Oh what shall we battle from the scene?

Complacent lies are blown to smithereens...

And death\'s secret

Will not bare a soul,

Whose walls the past shall marry?

I can only hope

That sleeping beauty is a-mist

In her own awakening--

Oh fellow loves have died for her

Please don\'t follow her in the dark

For she is an early maven of despair

The weak shall become bleak...

Such baring roses know all

I wonder if the secret lives

And tomorrow is just another day

Will sleeping beauty turn to fallen leaves?
