A member of Soyinka\'s wordsmith confraternity,
Ngugi, her literary grandfather,
Reading her daily communion.
Like prophet Deborah, she walks in majesty,
Her beauty adores in humility,
And her character skin deep,
The Cross, her only hope and consolation.
Though she has tasted deep waters,
Of tearful experiences,
But she stoops to conquer,
Fighting the demon of ignorance.
She will fly like an eagle,
Far away from the envying eyes
of her friendly foes,
Who rejoice in putting spokes in her wheel.
The world, a small village,
In it, many will share the testimonies
that lies in the healing of her literary works,
Nations will salute the wits of her pen.
