Just yesterday,
At Saint Academy School,
A two storey building collapsed,
Children killed and trapped.
Their tears flowed like river nile,
Blood boiling poto poto,
As it flows to gutters like urine,
Some sucked by the hungry soil.
Like a natural disaster,
It came to torment parents,
The stings of death perched on many roofs,
An entire family wiped.
Many homes in painful laughters,
Some mourning in aches,
While others mourn in feast,
Blaming the innocent devil.
Plateau state is bereaved,
For their sons and daughters,
Have gone home untimely,
To either rest in peace or pieces.
Consolation will visit many homes,
To comfort the bereaved families,
And rekindle in them hope,
Weeping may endure for many nights,
Joy comes in the morning.
