A piece of music came on,
Came on the radio.
I stopped,
Stopped writing and listened,
All I could do was listen and breathe.
Long breaths in,
Long breaths out,
And just listened,
Listened to the wonder,
The wonder of Mozart.
Each breath I took
Brought in good air
And took out the bad air.
The wonder of life was breathed in,
The bad things breathed out.
That’s all I did,
Breathe in and out
And listen,
Listen with joy,
And my day started,
Started on those notes,
Those wonderful notes
Leaving me knowing,
Knowing that today would be wonderful.
