The True Endgame
I faced an earthquake two hours ago,
With multiple tremors shaking in a row.
My world fell apart,
Shattering my heart.
Her last words, like swallows,
Deserting the hollows,
Her final call,
A peaceful moment as leaves fall.
Her shadow
Darkens the meadow
My soul rages in fury,
Turning my upcoming days blurry.
But I can’t be sorry;
This is the real end,
No more messages to send.
Or any bond to pretend
I loved you, my friend.
