Denounement - 1920
Hand in hand on the dimming horizon;
Consumed by the thought of tomorrow … tomorrow?
Two shells treading in the thickening sand -
Stressing about all the time we borrow
skies blacken
trees wilt
waters dry
The clock ticks impatiently in shorter intervals;
The harbinger of death beckons louder … louder?
Two shells succumbing to their endless voids -
Yearning for each other to fill what was lost
Sounds deafen
Colors mute
Love lost
The earth shifts and the flames burn;
The blood runs cold on the cross … cross?
Two shells wanting love as man and man -
Begging to be spared from ‘Gods’ will
memories fade
feelings disappear
worlds end.
