The broken glass
Now swept away
The burnt out cars await
Disposal at a later date.
The screams and violence
Now have gone
Footsoldiers arrested
What have they done ?
Those at the top
Who spout the hate
Achieved their goal
The peace to take.
Speaking still
Of the peoples voice
They lost the election
Democratic choice.
The riots now
Hopefully gone away
But those who hate
They still stay.
