The Sea of love
We share this together
At times the water is warm
The sun shines down on the surface
Creating life
Creating comfort
These days are beautiful
Serene
At the times the water is freezing
Darkness throughout
Pushing away the want to dive in
Bringing out all of our fears
Some days the sea seems to have no end
It stretches out for miles and miles
Magnificent in every direction
There is no place better
Other days, we forget what we have
Thinking the sea is not enough
Believing that these waters are anything but a blessing.
Not realizing how important it is
To the world around us
To the world within us
The sea can be a place of comfort
A place to get away
A source of food
A source of cleanliness
Our sea is the only one of its kind
It can also be a place of danger
Storms may come through
Lightning strikes
Thunder crashes
Bringing wind and waves
Terrifying in the moment
But come morning
It can be at peace once more
People can pollute our waters
They can affect the life within
Poisoning and destroying
But with effort
We can make it clean again
Bringing balance back
Our sea is beautiful
Our sea is terrifying
Our sea is dangerous
Our sea is grand
Our sea is ours
