Life is a race,
without a finishing line.
If you have strong limbs
or weak ones,
or none, that’s fine,
you keep running.
Hang in there,
that’s the trick!
Until fate pulls you out of it.
Like a leaf
from its once home,
the tree,
the sunny spot on the branch,
that dwindles down.
Fluttering majestically,
or miserably,
to the dark wet cold ground.
Everything and everybody
fall and vanish.
Even when thriving,
Or believe that they do so.
Everything and everybody
still fall and vanish.
It’s the motion that matters,
the attempt to dare,
dare to fail,
fail then learn,
learn to push your luck to extremes!
Because dreams don’t come true,
true dreamers run, even crawl to their dreams.
Enjoy your run,
enjoy your fall,
and don’t stop
smiling and having fun.
