Thoughtless

Contemplation

After a million miles and eighty feeling like it, I sit tea side or coffee side with toast and butter.
Retired, not lonely, adult children here when they can.
Memories of my wife swirl up with each sip of coffee or tea.
I swim in those, not as often these mornings.
I consider acts of foolish which are often couched in acts of God.
Won lottery with my marriage. What more could a man want?
Times gone when I traveled roads and dipped my wick in pleasurable destinations. Talk about avoiding darts, no bullseye on my nethers. I am talking about no protection. I never fathered any pups until my wife. And I am free of STIs.
We had that we desired.
After her departure to greener meadows with those who\'s traveled before, I did have a short relationship. One with a dramatic actress.
Lately, other than good friends, varieties, and family, also varieties, I cherish solitude. Mostly.
Salud. Non-alcoholic please. And youngsters, stay safe. Listen to your elders. LOL!
