Hide not your peace, God of my praise
My prayer to you I raise
For wicked have against me spoke
They oppress, my soul choke
I love, but they against me turn
And hot their spite does burn

I call down wrath, your righteousness
But come to me, me bless
Act now for your holy name\'s sake
Let them not in vain it take
They unmerciful, persecute
And they curse, are not mute
But lively to afflict the poor
Their judgement lingers sure
Help me, O God, like shadow me
When sun goes down, look, see
Save me, I pray, by your mercy
From dangers set me free
I will the Lord with my mouth praise
Continue all my days
For He shall help poor needy souls
