The Only Resolution
Many tales steer the life vessel,
Setting goals to tick but also telling trying is all that fits.
In the constant whirring of the wheel,
You often forget to pause and the brake never hits.
When you are all set to be crowned,
You just can’t reach to hold your soul that is drowned.
You blamed yourself for every shadow that parted ways
While all you had to do was breathe in the sunshine rays.
When do you realize that it’s okay to not fit in that dress
And to fail that test even if you are not in distress?
When do you realize that it’s all but strength when in tears
And it is essential for the sky to be cloudy before it fully clears.
With each turning tide,
You are up for a crazier ride.
But with every wave that hits the shore,
The only resolution you ought to follow is to be kinder to your core.
