Thoughtless

Oh no! A show!

A back bedroom, windows left naked by open drapes, the fading sunlight casting shadow, and our unadorned coziness in bed atop the landscape of sheets.
We drank each other in, a full buffet. Our minds absent, we were unaware of being undraped.
The roar of hogs, bikes, cycles, you know, in our outback under the five-apple tree, were two bikers.
Startled from revery, she said, \" Oh no!\"
\"Too late,\" I opined. \"It doesn\'t matter now.\"
She leapt au natural to the windows and closed the shades as she looked out at our surprise visitors.
Then she smirked, and declared, \"I hope they enjoyed the show.\"
