You’ve been on this train for as long as you can remember,
As a fortunate yet unrequested full time board member.
The train that travels fast, So you turn to ur parents and ask,
Are we on a runaway train, and wait for them to explain.
They say no, we would never bring you into a world we cannot control,
There is a man at the front who has a plan for us all.
So you say I\'m going to the front, to question this engineer,
Because I can\'t understand the way in which he steers.
So you march to the front, and reach the drivers door,
But by now you\'re filled with anger from all in which you have endured.
The strangers that you have passed, with fearful, tearful expressions,
The train is filled with hurt so now you have an even bigger question.
You bang on that door, and with no reply you kick the door in,
But you are met with the engineer\'s face and your guilt begins.
You can see the tears brewing in his eyes, a expression of disappointment I could recognise,
He tells you he knows all that\'s going on, and feels the emotion, pain, and weight of everyone.
So you ask the engineer how can you possibly help him,
He tells you to go back there and tell everyone that he loves them.
He says to tell them that he is doing his best and that it all has a purpose,
And that when he brings this train to a safe and satisfying halt it will all be worth it.
A destination we cannot even fathom, better than anything we could ever imagine,
So go out and quell their fears, for when that day comes it will all become clear.
I made you all in my image, and designed this train and route to perfection,
And despite the ways of man that rebel, we are still headed in the right direction.
So go back into the train and live out the rest of your life preaching this,
But if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me because I\'ll always be at the front making a way for us.
