THE CITY OF FEAR

We have come
to a crossed road,
Fears loom the streets,
Faces are suspects.

Mber months
come with expectations
to show off
to the community.

Men are eaters of men,
Jealousy the driving force,
Everyone a suspect,
How did we get here?

The city has survived
many bullets
from frenemies,
Strangers live in phobia.

Why building castles in the air?
Some elephants
share in this misery,
Their garments are coloured with:
Greed and envy.

Some have chosen
to become the devil\'s disciples,
To wreck havoc
on the society.

Vultures are hovering
the city,
Looking for preys,
They detest blood to ego.

For how long
will the city loom in fear?
Fear of the vultures
that lives in trousers.

The Crocodile
will soon unleash
her venom on the culprits,
And send them to hades.
