Day by day, mine eyes upon the distant screens,
Time doth pass so slow, in endless scenes,
Limitless waitings, forever they seem,
In this boundless void, I dream a dream.
The heart, it beats with fervour, uneasy,
Anxious of the future, where to steer my sea,
The ship of life, adrift in fate\'s cruel hand,
In silence, hopes do perish, like grains of sand.
No news doth come from lands of peace so fair,
No saviours’ applications, no solace there,
When shall I hear the call, the sweet invite,
A simple message of acceptance, pure and bright?
Time hath stopped, the sea lies still and dead,
I yearn for winds to breathe, to move ahead,
To bring forth hope, to stir this stagnant air,
And lift my spirit from this deep despair.
