i like to watch the tide rolling home once
rolling very gently covering the shore
covering the sand rolling wild and free
with its gentle waves bringing in the sea
seagulls at the waters edge looking for a treat
crabs or maybe shrimps things they love to eat
then the tide it turns to roam again once more
heading out to sea to another shore
all a part of nature that makes the world go round
all a part of life where wonders can be found
