A Dove of Time

People long to look at me, as I fly high above
They picture me flying painfully as a dove.
People picture me as a bird flying by their side,
Burdened and forced, an echoing lie

For this sky above man is not my abode,
the earth shall fall if i step on its stones,
The sea shall boil by seeing my light,
the universe seldom keeps up with my flight.

I am not born anew, wrapped in blankets cold,
my image yet ceases to rust and old.
I am not covered in the hardening of husks,
in the ground, or covered with dust.

I am always ascending, and coming down as well,
You constantly question me, in anger you swell
You can curse and taunt, or talk better and softer,
All I\'ll do is echo infinite laughter.

Do you not see that i am your lead?
Because of my guidance, come out life and seeds
This impatient soul breathed in by the Lord,
the One who empowers me by sheath and the sword.

This soul that he\'s given, in flesh and bone.
You\'ve caged it, and I guide you, but all you do is scorn
As I have duty to announce divinely hymns,
you turn arrogantly, question it, you whim.

So by God when the cosmos near their time lent,
Even I as Time itself, has a close end.
I have an order, so when it is seized,
for eternity curse, or simply be pleased.

For soon I too, shall spell my end,
When the Owner commands, the earth shall send.
So then men, adorned with love,
look up high, as I fly above.

The Earth and skies shall see my final light.
As i let go of my eternal life,
Then look up and hear once more,
with me in pain, the universe shall roar.
