Old Age Is A Beauty All On Its Own

Behold, the savage beast of years!

I look at my wrinkles and smile

Though I cannot connect the dots, I remember

the good times

For I am a queen

And I embrace my flaws,

And here is a rose for me

It is the centerpiece of my youth,

And this rose rises to the ashes

And it breaks all of my afflictions...

For the depth of old age rises

And the queen smiles

For she stands in the light,

The light that reveals her eyes;

Oh lovely rose, welcome to my eternity

I am overly generous with my youth,

For my youth is within my old age

And the gray hairs glisten and shine

And behold! I have fallen,

I have fallen in love with myself

All over again,

And I am a lonely rose in my youth

My skin is as soft as butter

And I won\'t regret another day.
