People are like ants.
In places they conquer, they have an aura of pride.
Once they are forced to surrender, becomes apparent, their might.
Mighty kings, rulers of lands
Scurry from their kingdom like when water is poured on ants.
Their minds look and recognize death’s embrace,
yet their hearts refuse, and acclaim life’s grace.
But one way we differ from the universe’s crumb,
is that they shall die toiling, and in fear we shall succumb.
