I take from my sack a memory of the past
a friend that had never seen Halloween
wanting to give him an experience that would last
taking our children, he stood between
Short and in a costume he fit right in
although senior citizen, he appeared a child
he held out his bag to those within
his goodies higher and higher piled
Holding out his sack, hair on his hands back
All the children were now asked to take off their masks
He lifted his hood, paint or face covering he did lack
looking at him, take off your mask the candy giver asks
