Your lies

I was pure and genuine, you shattered my heart, I was understanding, but you tore me apart, I chased you down, but you drained me dry, Now look in the mirror, was it worth the lie?

You stole my last light, turned it to night, Left me drowning in the chaos of your fights. We gave it all, but you let me fall, Now I\'m gone, and you\'re left with nothing at all.

I stood by your side, patient and strong,  But you fed me lies, and now I\'m gone, I wanted to believe in the love you faked,

But now I\'m moving on, and your heart will ache. You stole my last light, turned it to night,

Left me drowning in the chaos of your fights. We gave it all, but you let me fall, Now I\'m gone, and you\'re left with nothing at all.

Now I\'ve risen up, broke free from the pain,  No longer trapped in the shadows of your disdain.

I\'ve learned to love myself, I found my own way, While you\'re left to regret losing me every single day.

You stole my last light, turned it to night,   Left me drowning in the chaos of your fights. We gave it all, but you let me fall, Now I\'m gone, and you\'re left with nothing at all.

So ask yourself, was she worth the pain?  Now I\'ve moved on, and you\'re left in the rain. You took your shot, now feel the burn, I\'m rising up, and it\'s your turn to learn.
