Lose-Lose, Old News, New War

I\'m ducking under a palm tree

Millions of miles away

Exacting explosions

Aimed at my heart with ringing sounds

My childhood buried under a tree

Behind the black curtains

So many left and never came back

God forgot to bless the child

Carnages left and to the right

An arm distant

The hearts under rubble

I remembered never to seek what\'s hidden

Land, my mother, our father, lost

We are all a family from war

We have left none to lose

I remember that the foe and enemies

Were bedmates

And war was their demon child

Life or liberty

None for us, all for war
