Just, until
Can you save the last,
last dance for me,
a last glance at me.
Can you be my last,
the last one I see,
the last to hear me.
Can you stay by my side,
hold my hand,
with this not planned.
Please stay by my side.
These things I ask of you,
with my shallow breaths,
fading towards death.
I plead with you.
Stay by my side,
just, until I’ve died.
A drop waiting
From a flake I am born,
from the sky was torn.
Frozen, a touch of death,
trying to hold my breath.
Once again will be found,
once the flake hits the ground.
Reborn to a new fate,
back to a liquefied state.
After living as a flake,
however long it takes,
From which I was torn,
to a drop being born.
In a cloud being true,
waiting to snow on you.
A drop, I’m waiting to die,
as a flake to softly fly.
