Let\'s Juxtapose

Pretend these moments are not too awkward
Imagine we have things we share, a thought
Twixt good \'n evil, lines askew shall not meet
Yet this cold wraith still welcomes your smile.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of life,
I struggle. Beauty and joy, a scent of flowers
Birds ‘n bees, trees and green. I yearn for fire
Passion for trepidation, a pitter patter of fear

Walk to cliff edge, gorge below, legs tremble
Mind screams. I choke on fear. I beg it lingers
Cold rain a new chill. I\'ll be thrilled with fright
Compose myself. I gather strength, fortitude.

Face your wholesomeness that beauty of life
Answer to my demons, learn to love them all.
Dancing with evil, not exclusively, not nearly.
Bow to the Belle o’the Ball, ‘n watch her back
